FESTIVAL BATIK, SONGKET DAN KRAFT TERENGGANU


November 2015 - Pusat Dagangan Terengganu


The festival is aims to provide opportunities for players in the industry to develop their products while creating interest and opportunities for the industry as one of the priorities while maintaining local arts. The program includes activities featuring batik, songket and handicrafts produced locally. Industry players will be promoting  batik, songket and other crafts from Terengganu to both locals and foreign visitors, especially tourists from Singapore and Brunei.

TERENGGANU INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC ART FESTIVAL 2015


September 2015 - Dewan Konvensyen Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI)


The Terengganu International Islamic Art Festival 2015 is in its 5th edition. In 2015, the event will incorporate Islamic calligraphy competitions, musical performances khat, khat penilisan workshop and other ancillary activities. Other activities include exhibitions on Muslim fashionwear, Islamic inspirations and Nasyid pantomine. There will be international performers, especially those from the Middle East and Malaysians. 

The objective is to develop the traditional Islamic concept of Islam as well as promote tourism in the state. In addition, the event will unveil young talents in the art of Calligraphy to compete with foreign players.

PENANG FLORA FESTIVAL

PUTRAJAYA INTERNATIONAL HOT AIR BALLOON FIESTA

The Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (HABF) is in its seventh edition and will be showcasing 20 hot air balloons from around the world, of which 5 custom-designed ones in various shapes, size and colour. HABF 2014 attracted some200,000 visitors. 68% are Malaysians and 32% foreigners.

WORLD KITE FESTIVAL

The World Kite Festival, Pasir Gudang is an annual event that features numerous kite players participating in various unique activities involving sports, culture, tourism, recreation and leisure.
